A Brief History
The owner of Scorpion Builders and Roofing Ltd started out as an eager young apprentice for Ernest Wedge Roofing back in 1972 on a y.t.s course, this lasted for 4 years . John then trained to be a professional Plumber along with expert damp and timber treatment courses at Bristol and Gloscat college, after he successfully left college with all his hard work and experience, John set up on his own doing general building maintenance and traded as SOS Maintenance Ltd in Gloucester, this is when he acquired a contract working for green Flag & Europe Assistance. He played a significant part with dealing with major insurance claims throughout Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Warwickshire.
Once the contract was over John decided set up a new company with his vast experience and knowledge and this was the birth of Scorpion Builders and Roofing Ltd, The company started off small with John and a family member since then the company has gone from strength to strength. As an ever growing company Scorpion Builders and Roofing Ltd has a large fully qualified work force and a permanent office manager.
Scorpion Builders and Roofing Ltd is now a family run Company, managed by John, Shirley & Richard As a growing company we endeavour to provide the personal touch on every job and we treat your home as we would like ours to be treated with care and respect.
